Sunrise is a central Broward city best known for Sawgrass Mills, and it is a steady source of both commercial and residential work for us given how much retail and how many neighborhoods sit inside city limits. Sawgrass Mills is one of the largest outlet malls in the country and sits right at Sunrise's western edge, drawing traffic well beyond Broward County. • HOA and neighborhood association rules. • Atlantic hurricane season (June-November). We watch the forecast and will time placement (and pickup) around a storm rather than leave a container exposed on a bad-weather day.
• Sudden afternoon thunderstorms and king tides. Hot, humid South Florida summers bring fast-building afternoon downpours most days, and Fort Lauderdale's canal-heavy, low-lying geography means seasonal king tides and heavy-rain street flooding are a real, if occasional, local issue. A container placed in a low spot where water pools can become a hazard — we factor real drainage into where we set it.
• Storm and flood debris. Hurricane season and heavy-rain events leave a similar kind of mess behind — downed limbs and palm fronds, storm-surge or flood-damaged materials, general yard debris. Tell us if that is what is filling the container and we will size it accordingly; a size built for household junk can fill up fast with wet debris and heavy limb sections.
• Gate codes and access. A handful of newer Sunrise subdivisions have a gated or code-controlled entrance. If yours does, have a code or a call-ahead arranged so our driver isn't stuck waiting at the entrance on delivery day.
